LapsHub Live · Hosted

Hosted Pit Wall for your paddock.

Live GPS, laps, and onboard video for the cars your organization publishes. A design-partner UI on LapsHub Live: same backend and Streaming Protocol as Live API, ready for teams that want a screen without building one.

Org-scoped · Same Live backend · Design partners

Live map · onboard feed

Live map and onboard feed. Sub-2 s target latency in pilot.

Built for how you run track days.

Whether you run a driving school or build timing software, this is the hosted pit wall path on LapsHub Live. Same backend and Streaming Protocol as Live API. Cars your organization publishes, viewers you authorize.

For teams, schools, and clubs

  • Private pit wall. Your roster, your coaches, your crew. Watch live GPS, lap times, and session progress without a custom build.
  • Roster and access control. Drivers on your roster can use the free LapsHub app as a first-party client. Your org sees those cars. Not a public broadcast, and not a feed of every LapsHub driver.
  • Coaching-ready live video. Sub-2-second onboard streaming for a small number of authorized viewers in our design partner program. Contact us for pilot availability.

For timing and telemetry integrators

  • Same Live backend, your UI. Hosted pit wall is optional. If you own the pit wall, overlay, series app, or stream, contact us for Live API design-partner access.
  • Org cars only. Only cars your organization publishes appear in the stream. Everyday LapsHub driver-app laps and Go Live are not this feed.
  • Feed every screen. Push live position and onboard into timing displays, overlay graphics, YouTube, and TV workflows. We run the live backend; you own how the event reaches the audience.

Feed live position and optional onboard into timing displays, broadcast graphics, and the destinations your customers already watch. If you own the UI, contact us for Live API design-partner access.

How it works

1

Scope your event

Tell us your org, number of cars, telemetry source (phone GPS, RaceBox, LapsHub device, or your logger), and whether you need live onboard video. We align on private event setup and viewer access.

2

Publish org cars

Only cars your organization publishes appear on the pit wall. Drivers on your roster can use the free LapsHub app as a first-party client. Everyday public driver-app laps and Go Live are not this feed.

3

Watch or feed graphics

Your crew uses the hosted pit wall, or your stack receives the same protocol. Authorized viewers get low-latency onboard video where included in your pilot. Contact us for architecture options and pilot pricing.

FAQ

Is the LapsHub driver app still free?

Yes. Individual drivers download and use LapsHub free on iPhone and Android. LapsHub Live is the enterprise product for organizations. Hosted pit wall and Live API are two ways to use it on the same Streaming Protocol.

Is the hosted pit wall a different product from Live API?

No. Both are LapsHub Live. Hosted pit wall is the optional first-party UI. Live API is how you build your own screen on the same backend and protocol.

Do you ingest public LapsHub driver-app traffic?

No. Only cars an organization publishes are in the stream. Everyday driver-app laps and consumer Go Live stay in the driver product.

How much does it cost?

We do not publish list pricing. Pilot and design-partner pricing depends on event size, number of concurrent live streams, and whether you need the hosted UI or Live API. Contact us with your car count, telemetry source, and target date.

What happens to onboard video after a session?

Live onboard video is ephemeral while the car is on air, built for coaching and crew viewing in real time. Session onboard recordings stay on the publisher device for their own replay; cloud VOD is not part of the current v1 stack. Retention and export policies for org pilots are scoped during design partner onboarding.

Can we use our own data loggers or timing hardware?

Yes, as org-scoped ingest in the design partner program. Bring your telemetry source and target stack. We will map what is available today vs. on the roadmap. This is not a tap into public LapsHub driver-app sessions.

Can we put the event on YouTube or TV?

Yes as distribution you control. LapsHub Live gives you org-scoped telemetry and low-latency onboard. You decide how that feed reaches YouTube, TV trucks, overlays, or in-venue screens. We power the live backend; you own the audience path.

Is this the same as the public live-event map?

No. Org and integrator deployments are scoped to your event, roster, or customer base. Partner streams do not appear on the public live-event map by default. You control who is in the viewing group.

What is the design partner program?

We are working with a small set of teams, streamers, and integrators to validate LapsHub Live: org-scoped telemetry plus sub-2-second onboard video, as hosted pit wall or Live API. Contact us if you want to join a pilot.

How do integrators get Live API?

Email the waitlist from the contact buttons on this page (subject: LapsHub Live API waitlist), or start from the LapsHub Live page. Specs are not a public production URL yet. Keys are not issued.

Ready to scope your pilot?

Tell us about your org, event, or stream. We will reply with hosted pit wall options and design-partner pricing. Prefer to own the UI? Request Live API access from the same team.
